About the Foundation

The Minor Foundation for Major Challenges is a non-profit foundation that supports information and public-opinion-forming aimed at limiting human induced climate change. Any project whose objective is to influence public opinion and change attitudes to these problems is eligible for support. The Minor Foundation for Major Challenges was formed on 14 February 2000 by Peter Opsvik and members of his family. The board consists of the following members: Tore Killingland (chairman), Nina Dessau, Pål Prestrud, Jorunn Gran and Tor Opsvik. Secretary: Tore Braend.

The Minor Foundation for Major Challenges er en ideell stiftelse som støtter informasjon og opinionspåvirkning i arbeidet for å begrense de menneskeskapte, globale klimaproblemene. Alle prosjekter som tar sikte på opinionspåvirkning og holdningsendring om disse problemene kan få støtte. The Minor Foundation for Major Challenges ble stiftet 14. februar 2000 av Peter Opsvik og hans familie.
