Global Migrants for Climate Action

Immigrants to western nations from various countries in Africa, Asia and South America often have concrete knowledge and experience of the consequences of climate change. Global Migrants for Climate Action intend to contribute to a more concrete understanding of the practical consequences climate change already has had at an international level.

NUFF Global

In connection with the International Polar Year and the World Environmental Day, the Nordic Youth Film Festival (NUFF) focused on the theme "climate changes". NUFF global was a film competition that invited young people from all over the world to make films about climate changes.

1-1-1 TV documentary

Minor Foundation utlyste i 2002 en filmkonkurranse om klimaendringer. Stiftelsen valgte Visions filmide og fullfinansierer nå produksjonen av den internasjonale filmdokumentaren 1-1-1 som handler om hvordan verden merker klimautfordringene i år 2032.

A Journey in the Future of Water

The documentary A Journey in the Future of Water has received fundings from Minor Foundation of Major Challenges. The documentary was shown on the Norwegian television channel TV2 in October and November 2007 and during the Easter holydays in 2008.

Klimakampanjen

Minor Foundation har finansiert Norges Naturvernforbunds og Miljømerkings forprosjekt til klimakampanjen. Naturvernforbundet og Stiftelsen Miljømerking (Svanen) har vært en viktig pådriver for og hatt stor påvirkning/innflytelse på Miljøverndepartementets klimakampanje "Klimaløftet".

Environmental Attitudes in China and Future Climate Change

The Minor Foundation were funding the project "Environmental Attitudes in China and Future Climate Change: Reshaping Destructive Attitudes for Worldwide Benefits" by Paul G. Harris, Associate Professor, Lingnan University. The project involved ascertaining attitudes of Chinese people toward environmental issues, particularly global warming/climate change and associated energy usage, with the aim of mitigating associated behaviour that contributes to global warming and, in turn, climate change.
